The 7-Eleven® Global Solution Center (GSC) is an important source of our Dallas-Fort Worth-based core technology team. The India and US offices complete each other in making innovations and transform the digital world. Service Delivery includes the functional teams that provide services to the US, including IT, information security, finance, and accounting.

Service Delivery includes the functional teams that provide services to the US, including IT, information security, finance, and accounting.

Analytics Center of Excellence

The Analytics Center of Excellence is a centralised advanced analytics team that sits within the financial planning and analysis organisation. As internal quantitative consultants, we partner cross-functionally to assist with predictive modelling, BI reporting, and decision-making.... Along with constantly analysing data to understand underlying messages and influence key decisions, we bring rigour to experimentation and verify the results to ensure that current investments align with the company’s strategic goals. The CoE innovates and implements state-of-the-art econometric methodologies for causal analysis. We are challenging the status quo by being proactive and predictive with our data.

Data Engineering and Analytics

The Data Engineering and Analytics team collaborates with every business domain in 7-Eleven® (supply chain, inventory, finance, e-commerce, human resource, and personalisation) to provide root-level insights. From attaining operation efficiency to cost benefits to ... improving customer experience on an individual level, this team helps 7-Eleven® deliver right service to the right customer at the right time.

7GT (Global Technology Team)

The Global Technology team builds retail software solutions that can be used by 7-Eleven® international licenses to quickly ramp up their software capabilities. The idea is to have retail as a platform where a new licensee should be able to make changes... in a few configurable parameters and have the software up and running in their environment. The intent here is to have a unified solution that works in various countries by reusing the software and the best practices in retail that have been used by millions of customers instead of reinventing the wheel. This team works in the below areas:

Digital solutions which include delivery service and loyalty program.

Store solutions which include back office store system, point of sale, and custom mobile device.

Store support center solutions which include Master data management system and operations workbench.

7eP (7 Enterprise Platform Team)

The 7eP GSC team is an integral part of a wider
7 Enterprise Platform team and comprises of development , SDET and DevOps professionals who are supporting 7eP key initiatives across applications and overall 7eP technical infrastructure. The B2B applications ...7eP range over the domains of Accounting, Banking & Treasury, Enterprise Master Data, Fuels, Operations, Property Management, Quick Service Restaurants, and Tax & Retail Information System. 7eP GSC team has been instrumental in taking over complete application ownership and reducing vendor dependency from 60-100% across applications. Along with critical support and enhancements, complete re-engineering of applications is being undertaken by 7eP GSC. Very critical RIS 2.0 store conversion also has 7eP GSC contribution. Overall, 7eP GSC is a driven diverse team comprising of IT professionals of varied skillsets who are united in the objective of taking 7eP and 7-Eleven® to greater heights through the best Development, QA, DevOps and Agile practices.

RIS 2.0 GSC

RIS 2.0 is a Retail Information System, which is an initiative to rebuild the legacy RIS system which used to reside on In-Store Processor (ISP). RIS 2.0 system consists of several complex systems. GSC has high contributions to the modules ...Product Assortment, Inventory, Ordering, Cash Management, Configuration Management, User Management & Fuel Management as part of the Frontend, Middleware, and API development. GSC has contributed to the backbone of RIS 2.0 which consists of Data Transformation, an integrated payment platform & DEX (Dispenser Experience). GSC also contributes to RIS infrastructure hosted in AWS cloud platform, deployments, scaffolding, monitoring, auditing, and stabilization of all store systems-related components along with the best practices of Development, QA, DevOps, and Agile practices.
